Comic Princess Tina was created in 1967 when Fleetway comics Princess (1960) and Tina (1967) merged. In 1969 it absorbed Lady Penelope (1966) and was merged into Pink (1973) in 1973.
A lot of the artwork that was used in Fleetway publications was produced by Spanish or Italian artists. Giorgio Cambiotti, a pioneer of Italian erotic comics, was an artist for Alberto Giolitti’s Studios – an editorial agency, based in Rome, of writers and comic book artists for the international market. Fleetway used many of the artists on Giolitti’s books including Cambiotti and Massimo Belardinelli (2000AD).
