We want to make sure all our visitors have the best experience possible. Here’s what you need to know before you visit.

The Cartoon Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are permitted everywhere in the museum, including in both galleries and the toilet.

We have a life that provides step free access from street level, to the museum.

You can borrow sensory backpacks for free at the front desk to make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable. These have been specially designed for autistic, neurodivergent and learning-disabled visitors of all ages, as well as visitors with anxiety.

Young visitors can refer to our easy-to-read Look and See guide to know what to expect when they visit the museum. Visitors with anxiety and autism might also find this guide useful.

Visually Impaired visitors can borrow a magnifying glass at front desk. We also have large print labels for the main gallery to ensure all visitors can comfortably read exhibition text.

We have a hearing loop fitted at front desk for d/Deaf, Deafened, or Hard of Hearing visitors.

We offer a free entry ticket for visitors with disabilities plus a free ticket for accompanying carers.
