Beth Bryan, Director
Beth joined in November 2025, having previously served in senior positions in the sector including the Barbican, Hogarth’s House and The National Lottery Heritage Fund. She brings expertise in strategy and audience research. Active in the sector, she serves as a Community Hub grant panelist for the National Archives and is a former Chair of the Visitor Studies Group.

Holly Burrows, Commercial Manager
Holly joined the team in 2021 from the House of Illustration, where she spent six years as the Retail and Front of House Manager, prior to which she worked in retail capacities at the Roald Dahl Museum. She has an excellent track record in managing physical and online shops, delivering events, and working with artists.

Hannah Whyte, Collections Curator
Hannah initially joined the team in 2021 through the government’s kickstart programme, before undertaking curation and collections roles at the V&A and Heath Robinson Museum. She returned to the Museum in 2024 to develop a new touring exhibition and lead documentation projects. Her main interests are in comics, cartoons, zines, other works on paper, and illustration history.

Steve Marchant, Learning Officer & Comic Art Curator
Steve is the Cartoon Museum’s Learning Coordinator/Tutor and Comic Art Curator. As a cartoonist, he has worked for the BBC, British Airways, ITV, and numerous educational publications. He is also a qualified youth worker/tutor that teaches cartoon art classes in schools, libraries and universities in and around London.

Amba Malekin-Goneni, Access & Outreach Officer
Having recently graduated from Central Saint Martins studying Ceramic Design, Amba is excited to move from making objects to celebrating them. As a former Young Producer at the National Gallery, she has the experience and passion to create accessible programs that open collections to a wider audience. She will be focusing on welcoming autistic young people and creating a new mental health project.

Ray Chadwick, Events Officer
Before joining the Cartoon Museum, Ray worked as a Lifestyle Events Coordinator in the Care Sector. He is excited to work in an environment which shares his passion for drawing. Ray completed his degree at the Manchester School of Art in Fine Art and Art History. Ray is also an artist. His passion for drawing and art has propelled his career to numerous exciting places, including commissions for Grammy Award-winning artists, retail outlets and so on.

Pamela Lokhun, Duty Manager
Pamela joined the museum as a volunteer in 2022, before taking on the role of Weekend Duty Manager in 2024. She previously has Front of House experience from the House of Illustration, and is also a freelance comic artist, and was selected as one of the winners of the 2015 and 2016 Manga Jaman competitions.
